I was fortunate to get a good education that has made me aware of my rights as well as duties as a human in the society. I genuinely believe that education is society’s solution to its problems, such as crime, poverty, and gender inequality.
On October 8th, I will be “running” the Chicago Marathon to raise money for “Asha” for Education, Chicago chapter. As many of you know, I joined Asha a year ago stewarding a project ‘Gramya Sansthan’, which provides free education to around 600 underprivileged kids in a village in Uttar Pradesh, India.
How your funds will be used? Your funds will go to the project “Gramya Sansthan”, which is supported by Asha for Education, Chicago chapter. This project provides free education to 575 underprivileged kids in a village in Uttar Pradesh, India. The annual cost to educate one child is $60.
