Dear Friends and Kind Hearts,
As I lace up my running shoes and take a deep breath, I cannot help but think of my dear friend Noor who left this world too soon. I am writing this today with a heavy heart, but also with a sense of motivation and inspiration. She was my inspiration, my guiding light. Her soul was as pure as gold and her heart was always full of love and compassion. She spread kindness in this world everywhere she went and touched the lives of countless souls. She always lent a helping hand and was simply a beacon of light and positivity. Thank you Noor for inspiring me to be the catalyst for change in my own life and in this world.
This year, I have decided to run the Chicago Marathon in memory of Noor. To honor her strength, determination and zest for life. And to support a cause that she would be proud of – providing education to the underprivileged children of India. As someone who deeply valued the power of kindness and its ability to transform lives, I know that this would be a cause she would be proud to be associated with. It is hard to imagine that there are children out there who do not have access to education, but unfortunately, it is true. Education is a fundamental human right that every child deserves, yet so many are unable to pursue their dreams due to lack of resources, poverty, and other socio-economic factors. I believe that every child deserves an equal opportunity to reach their full potential.
With your support, I know I will cross the finish line of the Chicago Marathon 2023 with a sense of pride and accomplishment, knowing that we have helped change the world for the better, one life at a time. By donating to this cause, you will be helping to educate and empower children who would otherwise not have access to these opportunities.
