Hi all!
This year, I’m running the Chicago Marathon in support of Asha for Education, a volunteer-driven non-profit dedicated to empowering children from underprivileged backgrounds across India. Asha partners with grassroots organizations in rural areas to ensure that every child, regardless of their circumstances, has access to quality education.
I deeply believe that education is a fundamental right and a way to uplift people and communities. It has shaped my journey, giving me the opportunity to move to a new country and build a life I’m proud of. Supporting Asha is a way for me to give back and help open similar doors for other children in need.
This will be my second full marathon and my 20th+ distance race, but each mile means more when it’s tied to a cause close to my heart. Education changes lives. Running reminds me that progress comes one step at a time—and together, we can help pave the path forward for children who deserve every opportunity to thrive.
