Hi everyone,

In a moment of questionable judgment (likely brought on by a runner’s high that just isn’t evaporating), I have decided to run the 2026 Chicago Marathon.

Yes, that’s 26.2 miles. Yes, on purpose. No, nobody is chasing me.

While I spend the next several months questioning my life choices during 5 AM training runs, losing toenails, and chafing in places I didn’t know existed, I need your help to make sure it’s all for a good reason.

I am fundraising for Asha for Education, an incredible non-profit that is basically the opposite of my running form: efficient, impactful, and inspiring. (PS: “Asha” means a hope or a wish).

Here’s the cool part: Asha is fully volunteer-run. That means they don’t have fancy overheads or CEO salaries. 100% of your donation goes directly to educating underprivileged children in India.

Because Asha operates with zero overhead, your donation goes an incredibly long way:

  • The cap ($35), casually picked up at a Cubs game covers the education and mid-day meal for a child for a month.
  • The “Night Out” ($100): Covers the total cost of education, books, and uniforms for one child for an entire year.
  • Anything above that says a lot about the causes you hold dear.

P.S. Does your company match donations? Since Asha is a 501(c)(3) organisation, your gift could go twice as far! Please do check your HR portal to see if they’ll double your contribution for the kids.

I’ll handle the blisters and the shin splints; I just need you to handle the “Donate” button ☺️. If you help me reach my goal, I promise to send you a photo of me looking absolutely exhausted (and possibly crying) at the finish line.

Thanks for supporting my legs and their dreams!
