Miles That Matter 5K – A Birthday Run That Made a Difference
To celebrate her birthday, Neha chose to give back by raising $2,000 in support of Asha for Education’s Chicago Chapter, an organization dedicated to empowering underprivileged children in India through education.
She organized the Miles That Matter 5K in Seattle, where nearly 40 runners from the Desi Runners community joined her for the cause. Neha also received tremendous virtual support, with friends and well-wishers participating from afar and contributing generously. A special thank-you goes out to everyone who helped her plan, coordinate, and organize the event – their support made the “Miles That Matter 5K” a smooth, meaningful, and successful birthday fundraiser.
These fundraising efforts will directly impact children with limited access to education, helping promote learning opportunities, awareness, and holistic development across communities in India.
