Education has been a transformative force in my life. It has challenged me, pushed me out of my comfort zone, and unlocked incredible opportunities. This, of course, would not have been possible without the sacrifices my parents, family, and lifelong mentors have made for me. Words cannot describe how grateful I am to these individuals every single day. Their sacrifice has allowed me to discover my passion and leave a mark in the world.
I have realized that not everyone is lucky enough to have these kinds of people in their lives or receive the opportunities that I have had. I strongly believe that someone’s background or circumstances should not define their potential. Quality education is key to unlocking that potential, and I am running the Chicago Marathon this year to support that mission.
I am running for Asha for Education. Asha is a fully volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit with 50+ chapters around the world. Their mission is to catalyze socio-economic change in India through the education of underprivileged children. Asha supports initiatives ranging from education for girls and support for children with disabilities to programs that provide nutritious food and basic medical procedures. Your donation can empower underprivileged children in India to create brighter futures for themselves.
